    Experts of the Institute of Chemical Biology of the Russian Academy of Sciences in Novosibirsk, central Russia, have devised a portable testing system for the rapid detection of the emerging coronavirus.

    The new laboratory amplifies isothermal DNA on a PCR method and requires fewer resources to determine the Coronavirus.

    And the new method of detection requires taking a sample from the nose or wall of the pharynx to detect the virus or deny its existence so that the result will appear within an hour and a half.

    This method does not need expensive devices and equipment, as the institute administration confirmed that this testing system was designed within two and a half weeks, but the registration process may take 7 months before it can be used in airports and border crossings.
