All romantic relationships evolve according to stages that have been very well analyzed by psychologists: passion, the struggle for power, power-sharing, commitment and openness to others.

    During the seduction which culminates in the phase of passion, the first stage of the romantic relationship, you are not yet certain that the relationship is well established; men and women then show themselves in their best light in order to seduce and conquer the other. It is during this phase that men are most communicative and attentive: they take care of their image and are interested in everything you say; they only have eyes for you and keep complimenting you. It is during this phase that the woman looks at and listens to the man with the greatest admiration: she is always ready to bond and make love with you, as often as you wish; she never criticizes you and is ready to follow you in all your projects.

    

    At the same time, you will crown the coveted person: it is your soul mate, your prince, your princess and the love you have for each other will overcome all trials. You spend your nights chatting and making and redoing love. You can’t do without each other anymore: you’re madly in love, maybe even for the first real time in your life. This is the phase we would like to last forever.

    Biochemists have shown that during this phase, the human brain produces a hormone called phenylethylamine. It is this hormone that is responsible for the euphoric states that we experience when we are in love. This hormone would have the same effects as cocaine. If the desired person leaves you during this period, it is the lack, the pain of love. If you are a phenylethylamine addict, it is you who will leave when you feel that the passion subsides to find elsewhere a new flame that will stimulate the production of phenylethylamine. You will go from passion to passion, incapable of true love engagement.

    On the other hand, if you accept the decline in passion, your brain will replace the production of phenylethylamine by the production of endorphins, which have the same properties as morphine. You will then live days of quiet happiness: you will be able to sleep in peace, in silence, in each other's arms. You will never have been so well, so in harmony in your whole life. Your couple will delight you.

    Unfortunately, the passion ...! In fact, during the emotion stage, it wasn't really. I made everything that could be bored. Get married or, as the Spaniards say, put yourself in a (pure) house; you started living together.
